Genpact adds Not Impossible logo to Envision Virgin Racing cars ahead of Formula E races in New York to raise awareness of this critical issue

More than 50 million people in the United States don’t know where their next meal will come from

NEW YORK, July 9, 2021 / PRNewswire / – Genpact (NYSE: G), a global professional services company focused on digital transformation, today announced it will provide in-kind technology and digital transformation expertise to help scale a platform fundraising with the Not Impossible Foundation and Bento, a text-based service that connects families in need with nutritious prepaid meals from nearby restaurants.

In partnership with Genpact, Envision Virgin Racing’s all-electric race cars will sport a Not Impossible Bento logo during the ABB New York City E-Prix 2021, highlighting the fight against food insecurity.

Food insecurity is an epidemic in America that worsened during the pandemic. Almost 54 million people don’t know where their next meal is coming from.

Bento, launched by Not Impossible Labs in April 2021, harnesses technology to help solve hunger, one community at a time. Working with community organizations, universities, local governments, the private sector and health systems, Bento seamlessly connects food insecure people with healthy meals from local restaurants. The program is currently operating in seven cities: Chicago, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Memphis, Oakland, and Seattle, with plans to expand to Baltimore, Dallas, Denver, and new York this year.

Genpact is collaborating with Bento and the Not Impossible Foundation to create the scale and efficiency necessary to achieve its bold goal of serving one million meals per month by creating a connected ecosystem – connecting donors, beneficiaries, non-profit organizations. lucrative, restaurants and grocery stores together in one seamless environment that creates radical transparency across the donation-to-consumer cycle.

“We are a country with enormous resources, but food insecurity – the constant struggle to find enough to eat – remains a major social problem,” said Mick ebeling, Founder and CEO of Bento and Not Impossible Labs. “The problem isn’t the lack of food. It’s the lack of connectivity. Technology can connect people who can help with those who need help. Genpact will help us do it at scale. Their transformation. Innovative digital technology has the potential to revolutionize charitable giving, while retaining the human element of social impact. ”

This one-of-a-kind platform will create information and transparency on donations that will allow individuals to see where funds are going, be alerted in real time to the impact of their generosity on individuals and create an experience. richer end-to-end philanthropy that fuels engagement, retention and engagement. To do this, Genpact will draw on its deep expertise in processes and technology, including user experience, machine learning, analytics and automation.

“No family should have to choose between feeding their children and paying their rent, but it is exactly the choice millions of families are forced to make every day,” he said. Stacy simpson, Director of Marketing, Global Leader in Corporate Responsibility and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Genpact. “Contributing the best of our technology, humanity and innovation to help end hunger in America is directly aligned with Genpact’s goal: the relentless pursuit of a world that works better for people. “

To bring additional awareness to this critical issue, Genpact leveraged its partnership with Envision Virgin Racing add the Not Impossible Bento (NI Labs Bento) logo to its all-electric racing cars during Formula E ABB New York E-Prize 2021 this July 10-11. The logo will be in front of the Genpact logo (see photo). Racing cars should be seen by millions of people as CBS Sports broadcasts the races, which wind around the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal in the heart of Red hook neighborhood Brooklyn.

“Solving some of the world’s seemingly intractable problems requires all of us to step up and do something,” Simpson added. “Formula E fans are some of the most engaged, passionate and socially motivated audiences. Securing the logo space on the Envision Virgin Racing car for Not Impossible is to deliberately give critical exposure to the end of hunger. , which is both a humanitarian and an environmental issue. “

The fight against world hunger is an important part of Genpact’s corporate responsibility programs. For example, in 2020, the company launched Feed 20 Million Initiative, a volunteer program that fights hunger around the world, one meal at a time. Genpact volunteers exceeded this goal by helping to fight pandemic-induced hunger by serving nearly 25 million meals around the world.
